Here is a photo series illustrating the construction of my Rocky Mountain Sub model railroad. I started this layout back in 2004. The objective of this project was to experiment with mountain scenery. This is only a fraction of the photos taken, however, these show the basic milestones from start to finish. This project was also somewhat of a proof of concept to see how much model railroading could be done in a small space, but with a simple track plan.

ReplyDeleteExcellent layout, I was wondering what size it is, I'm looking to build a layout with a similar track plan and wanted to know what size it is as it looks smaller than 4'x8' in the pictures
